Where to bank Dantes credits for a few months
#1
I just finished my last CLEP test and have all of my credits banked at CLEP only. Now I plan to take four Dantes tests and then apply & enroll at TESC later this fall. Should I bank my credits with Dantes? And do you just leave it blank when it ask where you want your scores sent? Or, should I go ahead and have them sent to TESC since I plan to apply so soon? How long will TESC keep scores from someone who hasn't applied yet? Or does it even make any difference? Thanks.

You won't have to worry about banking your credits. Prometric will hold it for you (not sure how long but it's a while) just like the college board is does.
If you're going to apply to TESC later this fall, you can then just mail your transcript request form to Prometric when you do so -- it costs $30 for DSSTs, and $20 for CLEPs. Transcript process is real similar to CLEPs.

One option you have is this. Pay the $75 application fee and apply to TESC NOW. Once you apply you have 6 months to enroll before you have to reapply (you mentioned enrolling by this fall and that should give you plenty of time). During the application phase you can have your scores sent to TESC directly and you'd be saving $30 on transcript fees. If you do this, you'll want to have TESC's code on hand when you sign up for your first DSST (it saves the info for future tests). TESC's DSST code is 7215.
