Yes, that degree plan does look really interesting. It would be good for someone looking to earn a degree for self-gratification and/or needing to qualify for a position that requires any master's degree.
• Master of Science in Nursing - Eastern New Mexico University (in progress)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Western Governors University (3/2015)
• Associate of Science in Nursing - Platt College (3/2010)
• Diploma of Vocational Nursing - Casa Loma College (10/2005)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
• Professional licensure: LPN/LVN (1/2006); RN (5/2010)
• 16 brick & mortar credits from Oxnard College (2000 to 2001)
• 38 brick & mortar credits from Tarrant County College (2006 to 2008)

I would agree with your assessment, except that this is, "...a rare opportunity to earn an accredited, nonresident Master's degree in art, history, literature, music, or philosophy from a U.S. school." Mariah P. Bear, M.A.

Spent the last half hour trying to figure out how much it costs. Anyone know?
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Quote:Course Fees and Payment Options
In the Master of Arts in the Humanities Program, course fees are $280 per semester unit. The fee for a three-unit course, for example, is $840. (Note: the fee for the zero-unit HUX 600 course is $150.) Course fees are the same for both resident and non-resident students. Fees are subject to change without notice.
