How has getting a degree from the Big Three (and others) changed your career or life?
#1
The title says it all!
Current: UMPI YourPace competency-based BABA, Management & Leadership Concentration, Project Management and Management of Information Systems Minors. Starting with 15 RA credits previously earned in community college. Took the CSM Learn course. Now going through Sophia courses.
Goal: Walden TEMPO competency-based MBA.
Timeline: Started planning mid 2021. Finish both, Jan 2023. A year and a half total, including planning. Started planning on TESU, but was advised towards UMPI to take advantage of financial aid. I'm now excited to finish completely competency-based.
Fun fact: I sometimes use TV as a productivity toolOne episode per chapter, load of dishes, or basket of laundry!
Thanks to everyone, and happy studying!  Smile

You might want to take some time and read through a few threads by doing a search for it... there are grads from the Big 3 and other competency based degree programs, many have successfully gone through lateral moves or upwards to management. Here's a recent post of mine and it lists a few people, you can search their threads. There are a few people also mentioned in the wiki, like ryoder who finished two TESU degrees and went onto their Masters/PhD. Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid353856
