Path Recommendation for 50 y.o. male in US
#11
Electives, got it. Thank you!

Moving on, if I understand correctly, the Pierpont BOG degree requires:
  • 3 credits in communications
  • 6 credits in math/science,
  • 3 credits in social sciences
  • 3 credits in computer literacy

In regards to the 3 credits in Communications do I need to take and pass ALL of these or just ANY ONE of these classes [or equivalent via Sophia / other source]?

Each one of those is 3 credits from alternate sources. For Pierpont, you only need ONE. You can do Sophia's Visual Communications fairly quickly because it has no Touchstones to grade. Pierpont counts that as meeting that requirement.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

That's correct, you just need to take one class for each requirement, they only require 1 graded credit, the rest can come from Sophia.org, I suggest completing all the Sophia.org classes that do not have any touchstone assignments to speed through them during your subscription. This is to max the UMPI BAS/BLS 60 elective credits, you'll also want to review the links within my posts in this current thread to review the classes required for Freebies, Pierpont BOG, UMPI.
In Progress: Walden MBA | TESU BA Biology & Computer Science
Graduate Certificate: Global Management & Entrepreneurship, ASU (Freebie)

Completed: TESU ASNSM Biology, BSBA (ACBSP Accredited 2017)
Universidad Isabel I: ENEB MBA, Big Data & BI, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
Certs: 6Sigma/Lean/Scrum, ITIL | Cisco/CompTIA/MTA | Coursera/Edx/Udacity

I did go through most of your links, if not all and am currently building some internal documentation to share.

There have been a few things that the wiki may need to have updated

- The American Dream Academy / TADA is no longer available
- UMPI has updated their catalog for 2024, and there are some course changes. Some of which may lessen the Math load
- The Coursera Google IT Support course may now require payment upfront [not sure]

I'm still building a path for the Pierpont BOG General Education credits.

You and rachel83az have obviously been a tremendous help to me and the entire community, thank you both!
