Hooray! Katie comes from a great family. I don't know her personally, but her dad was my middle school choir director, and her mom was my 8th grade Home Ec. teacher! I think her mom teaches over at the Lutheran high school now, though. I have no doubt she'll do a wonderful job, and I know everyone around here is very proud! It's great to see a small town girl win such a big pageant! This is such a great opportunity for her. Congratulations Katie!
