Is there any way I can CLEP/DSST the 15 UL arts and science requirement for this degree? Or does that requirement have to be taken at the college. That seems like the only credits that you cannot DSST out of unless you take ECE exam. BTW this is for excelsior

Excelsior accepts three DSSTs as upper-level arts & sciences:
Civil War & Reconstruction Rise & Fall of the Soviet Union Money & Banking FYI, Four other DSSTs are accepted as UL applied professional (Business Law II, Principles of Finance, Substance Abuse, and MIS). Combine the 9 credits from the three DSSTs, and you'll only need 6 more UL A&S credits to meet the requirement. You can take the American Dream ECE, which is 6 UL credits for $345. You can also take the UL courses elsewhere and transfer them in. If you prefer exams to courses, Ohio University offers a good variety of Credit By Exam options for $276 per exam; any course numbered 300 or higher should transfer as upper-level. Note - OU is on the quarter-hour system, so those exams would equate to 2.67 credit hours. You'll want to talk to your advisor about how to ensure you get the right amount of credit if you use these exams. If courses are acceptable, the usual recommendation for the independent study offerings at LSU, BYU, OU, and U of Idaho applies. All offer upper-level arts & science courses - again, look for 300-level or higher. LSU didn't offer many UL options in most departments, but had a good selection for psychology and sociology. As a Criminal Justice major, that's right up your alley!
