ALEKS-to-TESU Transfer Equivalency ?
#1
I want to make sure I understand the ALEKS-to-TESU transfer equivalencies before signing up my son for ALEKS. I'm sure it's posted here someplace, but my searches could not uncover it.
Here's the transfer equivalency that I am assuming (just guessing at it):

ALEKS Intermediate Algebra - TESU MAT-115
ALEKS College Algebra w/Trig - TESU MAT-121*
ALEKS PreCalculus - TESU MAT-129
ALEKS Statistics - TESU STA-201

Is that correct? Am I missing an ALEKS that will transfer to TESU?
I have MAT-121 starred because my son passed that already through Study.com's Math 103 course. He's working on a TESU BSBA GM and he's 72 credits into it, using mostly Study.com.
I know the statistics course is required, but not sure if he'll do ALEKS for that, given the great difficulty others seem to have with ALEKS Statistics.
Do all 4 these ALEKS courses count in the TESU BSBA degree? Are there others? I don't want to duplicate.
Here's how I'm thinking it fits into his degree plan:

Quantitative Literacy - MAT-121
Mathematics (6 credits) - MAT-115 & STA-201
Other General Ed credits - MAT-129
Will that work?
I came to this forum researching for my now 17-yr-old son who was earning credits via testing and online courses. He completed TESU's BUS-421 in March 2018, the capstone for the TESU BSBA GM degree.  Below are the courses he took:
Study.com: Business 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 109, 113, 121, 308, 309; Economics 101, 102; Finance 101, 102; History 103, 104, 106, 108; Math 103; Political Science 102; Religion 101; Geology 101; Nutrition 101; Chemistry 101; English 305
SL: Intro to Communications, Accounting 1&2, Financial Accounting
ALEKS: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, PreCalculus, Statistics
TEEX: Cybersecurity 101, 102, 103
Sophia: Developing Effective Teams
312N-H Ethics & the CPCU Code of Professional Conduct
Community College: English 101 & 102, Calculus 1

You have it correct (and I have to have 10 characters).

Ack! Just saw this note on ALEKS:
"Students may not receive credit for both PreCalculus and College Algebra with Trigonometry"
I wonder if their ACE-approved College Algebra (w/ no trig) also transfers to TESU as MAT-121? Since my son has MAT-121 covered via Study.com, I don't want to waste time on ALEKS PreCalc if it won't count. I'm sorry I am dense on this one. Once we activate the subscription, I want to run with it. Soon I'll be on the search for ALEKS discount codes -ha!

Yes, I believe a lot of places may count those as the same. How about just College Algebra?
