I want to make sure I understand the ALEKS-to-TESU transfer equivalencies before signing up my son for ALEKS. I'm sure it's posted here someplace, but my searches could not uncover it.
Here's the transfer equivalency that I am assuming (just guessing at it):
ALEKS Intermediate Algebra - TESU MAT-115
ALEKS College Algebra w/Trig - TESU MAT-121*
ALEKS PreCalculus - TESU MAT-129
ALEKS Statistics - TESU STA-201
Is that correct? Am I missing an ALEKS that will transfer to TESU?
I have MAT-121 starred because my son passed that already through Study.com's Math 103 course. He's working on a TESU BSBA GM and he's 72 credits into it, using mostly Study.com.
I know the statistics course is required, but not sure if he'll do ALEKS for that, given the great difficulty others seem to have with ALEKS Statistics.
Do all 4 these ALEKS courses count in the TESU BSBA degree? Are there others? I don't want to duplicate.
Here's how I'm thinking it fits into his degree plan:
Quantitative Literacy - MAT-121
Mathematics (6 credits) - MAT-115 & STA-201
Other General Ed credits - MAT-129
Will that work?
